1. Your team will consist of players from ONE NATIONAL LEAGUE TEAM AND ONE AMERICAN LEAGUE TEAM.
2. Your TEAM NAME must reflect both your NAT and AMER teams. Examples: CHC Twins, Chicago Twins, Cubs-Twins, etc. such that any league owner will be able to view the team name and recognize both teams.
3. It is a keeper league in the sense that at the end of the season you can choose which team you want to keep for the next year. The method for this is to list your keeper team FIRST in your team name at the end of the season. The team listed first when Yahoo locks the game will be your keeper team for the following year.
4. The draft order this year is:
CLE -- bob
KC -- MONTY
MIN -- brian
LAD -- hajduk
TEX -- AKhomebrewer
WAS -- djbutta
STL -- ajgmets
CHC -- Smooboy
Feb 28, 2017 is the deadline to sign up for FFB after which the league will be open to new owners. New owners will assume the highest available draft slot AND will be able to choose any available MLB team as their primary team. The draft order in 2018 will be 5, 6, 7, 8, 4, 3, 2, 1 .
5. To draft your secondary team: In the first round, choose ANY TEAM REPRESENTATIVE from AN AVAILABLE MLB franchise, that is, one not from CLE/KC/LAD/TEX/WAS/STL/CHC. It will be crucial to arrange your draft queue if you will not be at the draft. If you have a NAT team as your primary team, your top picks should include only AMER league TEAM REPS, and vice versa. Even those who attend the draft will be required to draft a TEAM REP. It is still the fastest draft in fantasy baseball. I will go back in after the draft and clean up teams so you can go in and start re-populating

6. Switching a franchise. 5 switches allowed per year. You may switch your franchise any time during the regular season. No franchise switches will be allowed in the middle of a playoff week, but are allowed once the week is completed. So, if you decide your franchise sucks on Wednesday of playoff week or you have a strategic reason to switch, you may on Sunday of that week. You may also switch your team after week 1 of the World Series. 5 franchise switches per year is the limit. If you choose to switch your franchise on the same day AFTER one of your teams has already played you MAY NOT use players from your new team for scoring that day.
MLB Trades: If a player from your fantasy team is traded to another MLB franchise it is your responsibility to drop that player from your team. If you do not I will :) and you will have a vacant slot on your roster. MLB.com will be the official site for transaction dates and scoring will be reflected accordingly.
7. Trading a franchise. Before the season starts any owners may trade amongst themselves and not be charged a transaction. Draft order is not affected. During the season you may trade franchises until July 31. It will cost you one transaction each time you trade during the regular season. Owners are responsible for trades by dropping and acquiring their players before each team's gametime on gameday. Simply state on the message board your desire to trade along with the other party in the trade on the message board.
8. Trading for a draft pick. You may trade your primary team for a draft slot during the pre-season. Simply state your desire to do so on the message board along with the other party. It won't cost you a transaction. It will however, necessitate a "second round" of drafting. Example: #8SD wishes to trade San Diego to the #1LAD for the number 1 draft slot. "LAD" would now be "SD" and draft from the number 8. "Old SD" would be teamless and draft their primary team from the #1. After the draft, "New SD" would have to declare on the message board who they want to be their secondary team. If more than one team has traded for draft position, the secondary teams will be chosen in snake fashion back from the bottom of the draft. In the above example, LAD would be in the free agent pool as a result of the trade.
9. All pre-season franchise trades or draft slot trades must be completed by March 10th.
All league disputes will be evaluated by the Commissioner and settled by a league vote in a timely manner on the league message board with the Commish as tiebreaker.
